Business Development Executive

The Basics

Location: Edinburgh-based, with a hybrid work setup. Occasional trips to Glasgow and client sites for some face-to-face action.

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 (DOE), plus uncapped commission incentives and a 10% company bonus.

What’s the Gig?

Your mission (and trust us, you’ll want to accept it) is to drive lead generation, connect us with exciting new clients, and grow our commercial pipeline. You’ll join our superstar Commercial team, working hand-in-hand with marketing legends, top-tier partners, and an events programme designed to make waves. Full autonomy, growth, and the chance to make real magic happen are all part of the deal. Oh, and did we mention the incredible brands and enterprises you’ll be working with?

Your Day-to-Day Adventures:

  • Find and create golden leads through research, outreach, and epic networking.
  • Be a real researcher, bring us who’s hot, who’s not and who are the top companies across Scotland that really need to be speaking to us.  
  • Take a prospect from cold to warm with a series of hyper-personalised emails, campaigns and events.  
  • Represent ClearSky Logic at industry events and conferences – bring the charisma and make the connections.
  • Build relationships that matter with potential clients and partners.
  • Create tailored engagement plans that wow prospects and show how we can transform their business.
  • Team up with marketing and sales to turn those juicy leads into full-fledged opportunities.
  • Track and optimise our lead pipeline with your strategic reporting skills (bonus points if you’re a HubSpot hero!).

What We’re Looking For:

  • A proven track record in lead generation or similar roles – you’re a natural at this.
  • Killer communication and relationship-building skills – people just like you.
  • Confidence, energy, and the drive to crush measurable goals.
  • A self-starter mentality with the hunger to learn and grow.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in tech, software, or B2B? That’s gold.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and reporting (HubSpot lovers, we see you).
